I have had the privilege of knowing Dee in decent years when she was recommended to us as a cleaner. However, she was never just a cleaner. Dee bought so many gifts to our house; laughter, joy, wisdom, friendship and kindness. Her confidence meant that she had no problem working with me on a Saturday morning .
We shared stories from our lives. Dee was so proud of her husband Ken, her sons and their families. She talked about her extended family with such love and care.
I know Dee’s family always call her correctly Delia, but she always told me to call her Dee. I hope this does not distress family members.
I will always cherish my memories of Dee and the example she gave of love and bravery.

This is a page dedicated to Mum who with the love and support of the Willen Hospice team got to live out her last wish. This was to pass onto the next life with dignity at home and within range for the same tele-porter that took her beloved husband Ken what only feels like a few months ago.
We would be delighted if you would leave any pictures you have of Mum here and your thoughts with the pictures so everyone can see.
